We partnered with Patagonia, for human health and marine ecosystems. We developed laundry cycle that reduces up to 54%⁵⁾ of microfiber released into drain water. The Less Microfiber cycle adjusts the motor’s revolution speed and washing intensiveness to help prevent synthetic clothes from shedding microfibers.

Components
To reduce e-waste, we plan to strengthen, make more durable, and offer 20-year warranties for the most important components of our home appliances.

We offer 20-year warranty for Digital Inverter Motors and Digital Inverter Compressors in Europe and then in other parts of the world in phases.
* 20-year warranty is only applicable to the inverter motors and compressors in refrigerators, washers and dryers sold in the E.U. starting in July 2022.
* 20-year warranty on Digital Inverter Technologies (motor/compressor) only applies to refrigerators and washing machines manufactured by Samsung and subcontracted manufacturers. 20-year warranty does not apply to any outsourced products. Learn more

The U.S. Environmental Protection
Agency (EPA) recognized Samsung
Electronics’ induction as the winner of
