Collaborate with others using Samsung Notes

Note Collaboration Screen on Two Galaxy Devices

Now it’s easy to share and collaborate with shared notes on your Galaxy phone or tablet. You can work together with up to nine other people on the same note at the same time.

Note: This feature is currently in beta. Some features may not work as expected and are subject to change.

Work together on a note

  1. Navigate to and open Samsung Notes.

  2. Tap Menu (the three horizontal lines).

  3. Tap Shared notes, and then allow the necessary permissions when prompted.

  4. Tap Invite collaborators.

  5. You can choose from your contacts or create a shareable link that you can send to anyone. Invitees will need to tap Join to collaborate. Anyone with access to the note will be able to edit it at any time.

Manage collaborators

A total of 10 people, including yourself, can work together on the same note. The creator of the note is designated as the group leader and can remove users as well as select a new person to lead. However, anyone can add new collaborators.

  1. While working in a note, tap the name of the note at the top of the screen.

  2. Tap the people icon in the top right.

  3. To add users, tap Invite, and then select your desired contacts.

  4. If you’d like to leave the note, tap More options (the three vertical dots) on the note, and then tap Leave group. The leader also has the option to select a new leader or remove a member from the group.
