Check the wireless network status

To successfully add a device via Wi-Fi, it is important to ensure that your TV and phone are connected to the same network and logged into the same Samsung Account.

Also, for Samsung TVs made after 2017 that support Bluetooth, a BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) function is available, which enables the setup of devices without the need to be connected to the same network.

Notes:

  • To ensure you have a stable internet connection, try to open a webpage on your mobile device.
  • If there are already 10 devices connected to the router, you may experience registration failure.
  • If your router and TV are far apart, the communication may not be seamless, which can result in registration failures.

To avoid any further issues, ensure that your TV is compatible with SmartThings before attempting to register it with the app again.
