Use the AutoRelease Dry feature on your Samsung dishwasher
AutoRelease Dry is designed to improve drying performance by automatically opening the door during the last 5-15 minutes of the cycle. The door opens when the temperature has fallen below 122°F, allowing fresh air to circulate within the dishwasher. An internal fan also activates to protect your countertop from moisture.
This setting defaults to On because of the benefits it provides. However, the setting can be turned off if you prefer. Keep reading for steps on how to do so.
Adjusting the AutoRelease Dry Setting
Touch POWER to turn on the dishwasher.
To enter the settings menu, touch and hold Lower Santize and Hi-Temp Wash Delay Start until U0 or U1 appears on the display.
Touch Sanitize repeatedly until A0 or A1 appears on the display. Then touch Delay Start to alternate between the two options.
If A0 appears, AutoRelease Dry is disabled (not recommended).
If A1 appears, AutoRelease Dry is enabled (the recommended default).
Repeat this step if needed to reach your desired option.
To save your settings, touch POWER. The dishwasher will power off.
