A Visionary Mapping™ Plus System finds and leads it around the optimal path for the fast-track cleaning. Using its 10 sensors and onboard digital camera it creates a complete map of your house and calculates the most efficient cleaning path.
Comprehensive scan
An upgraded, high-performance FullView Sensor™ comprehensively locates even very narrow or small obstacles** across a wide area. As there are much fewer “blind spots”, it can navigate safely around an entire room, intelligently circumventing obstacles or areas it can get stuck in.
Point and clean
A Point Cleaning™ controller lets you guide it to clean dusty spots. Simply point the light in front of the VR9000 and it will follow the beam and start cleaning as it moves along the way.
Wheels that smoothly move over surfaces
Easy Pass™ wheels easily overcome most obstacles, so it will keep working while you’re not there. Its body is also now 15 mm off the ground, so it’s much less likely to get caught on anything.
Cleans even more
Has a wider brush'', so it can clean larger areas with less movement. It has a width of 311 mm, which is around 107 mm larger than conventional 204 mm brushes, providing a faster cleaning performance.
Always charged – automatically
An Auto Charge function means you don't need to worry about it running out of power and stopping. When the battery gets low it automatically moves to the docking station to recharge itself, before resuming cleaning.
Clean how you like
7 Cleaning Modes let you choose the best way to clean in different situations. It has 4 styles of cleaning, including Auto, Spot, Max and Manual modes, 2 scheduling modes and a Dust Sensor mode.
Virtually more protection
A Virtual Guard™ stops it going into areas that you choose. Simply activate it with a single button and use it to set the restricted spaces, where you might have valuable furniture or pet beds.
