Team Blahaj intend to completely revolutionize the sensory experiences of individuals with visual impairments, incorporating AI depth tracking that uses LiDAR and camera sensors already present on mobile devices.
Their solutions will provide the visually impaired with almost a second chance at "sight" — the ability to gain a more detailed understanding of their surroundings via auditory and tactile cues. This enhances their safety and independence while navigating the world at large with more detailed information about their surroundings, thereby upgrading their quality of life.

Team Glacial Planters have developed a deep water culture-based hydroponics system that features a cooler capable of lowering the water temperatures below ambient levels by up to 25°c to support the growth of temperate plants like strawberries and fennel. It includes a web interface for remote and easy monitoring and control, as well as an air pump to provide the plants with oxygen.
Their solution has demonstrated the ability to grow temperate plants even in Singapore's warm climate. When left unattended except for the monthly water refills, the solution was able to yield Chinese Spinach, which has an ideal growing temperature of about 22°c.
