New Samsung Campaign Explores What Keeps Workers Happy
Data shows access to powerful digital tools directly influences employee satisfaction
Nov 17. 2021SEOUL, KOREA – November 17, 2021 – Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. today announced the Samsung Galaxy for Work Campaign through two lighthearted short films that show how Galaxy products can help businesses as they recover from the challenging times they faced this past year and beyond. Using the finance and public safety sectors as examples, Samsung showcases how Galaxy devices expand worker capabilities, empower them to work more flexibly and make the work more rewarding – ultimately leading to a more fulfilling work experience.
One of the biggest challenges facing CEOs has been retaining top talent.1 Studies have found that high-performing employees are driven by ambition, appetite for growth and eagerness to deliver excellence.2 They are drawn to companies that provide cutting-edge digital tools that enable them to efficiently get the job done with 80% of workers stating that a company using the latest technology is more desirable to join. Moreover, employees have expressed that a top factor for being satisfied with their job is being able to do their best work and feel having access to technology is key in elevating their performance. Recognizing these factors, Samsung prioritized the development of enterprise tools that appeal to employees. In fact, in a recent survey of Samsung enterprise customers, 100% of the respondents said they are likely to continue using Samsung enterprise devices, solutions and/or services in the future,3 underscoring the strength and reliability of Samsung’s enterprise offerings.
In these videos, Samsung visualizes how the Galaxy ecosystem can optimize the enterprise experience through dynamic technology and solutions that help employees streamline their projects and open their time to focus on delivering work they can be proud of. For example, Knox for Enterprise Mobility gives IT Managers a one-stop-shop to keep devices operational and secure so they can focus less on reactive troubleshooting and more on finding ways to innovate the business.
Samsung’s latest Galaxy for Work campaign also showcases the role Galaxy products play in creating a flexible work experience. While the videos highlight how Samsung technology can be applied for government and finance, Galaxy devices are well suited for a variety of industries, spanning retail, health, education, manufacturing and more. Tools like Knox for Device Customization allows businesses of all kinds to remotely configure phones, tablets and wearables allowing employees to be more efficient from wherever they clock in. This is critical to attracting and retaining talent as market research conducted by Samsung found that 50 percent of employees within the financial sector are unsatisfied with their company’s mobile tech and 69 percent would switch companies for access to better technology.4
