Seeing my team grow and succeed in their careers is probably the proudest moment I have over the course of my 7 years here with Samsung, especially those who started in our Samsung Stores as sales consultants and now lead display projects and manage retail product launches.
It is rewarding to mentor, guide and support career growth and development for those coming up through the ranks, and it is exciting to see the confidence shift that comes from knowledge and experience.
I have been fortunate to work on many amazing product launches that have shifted the boundaries for technology use in Australia. Each product launch is an achievement in itself as so much work goes into bringing our new products to life in a retail environment. Every time I go into a retailer and see customers interacting with our Samsung fixtures and displays is a proud moment.
The regional and global teams are fantastic as well, and are eager to learn and share their experiences and best practices to drive success.
I am grateful to work as part of a broader local team that is knowledgeable, experienced and supportive of one another and work hard to create a fun and collaborative environment. I am surrounded by high achieving colleagues and a leadership team who constantly inspire us to think outside the box and push the boundaries of what’s possible. We’re forever growing and learning from each other. I take that same mentality to my team and encourage them to ask questions, push the status quo and take risks to better themselves and Samsung.

Samsung is a fast-paced and reactive business. You need to be flexible enough to adapt to changing market conditions and remain focused on the overarching objectives for each project so you don’t get too sidetracked.
The best part of Samsung is the people, and there is an endless amount of support available; you just need to ask for help when it’s needed.
Most importantly, we love to laugh and find fun in what we do. A sense of humour is a must to get you through!
