I felt that my hard work really paid off when my team at Samsung won the top supplier award for one of Malaysia’s largest electrical chainstores. This was a defining moment for me, and it motivated me to keep pushing through the challenges I faced at work. This provided meaning and importance into everything I do, and I am extremely grateful that Samsung invested in our personal development and careers from the get-go to help me get to where I am today.
Looking back at my first day as a Management Trainee, there were many opportunities given to me to work in different areas. This allowed me to learn from new people and new challenges every day.
It was this consistent encouragement from the company that unlocked my true potential and I couldn’t be prouder of how far I’ve come. Samsung has always put priority on its people first, growing and nurturing them into business leaders.
“There were many opportunities that allowed me to work in different areas. This helped me learn from new people and new challenges every day.”
For candidates looking to join the team, the most important thing to remember is that the learning curve is steep, so being able to manage the challenges with speed and tenacity is key.
Fortunately, there are many top-caliber colleagues at Samsung who can provide you with support and plenty of learning resources to help you excel at your tasks. Leverage on these, keep pushing forward and drive for results. Your journey here will just get better! What you do will make a difference as a team at the end of the day, and I can safely say that this sense of fulfillment is unparalleled.
