Manage network settings on Connect Home

If your friends are asking for your Wi-Fi information, but you forgot the network password, do not panic. With Samsung Connect Home (or Connect Home Pro) and the SmartThings app, you can instantly view all your network settings, including the network name and password.

Note: The provided information refers to devices sold in Canada. The available screens and settings may differ for devices sold in other countries. You can visit the SmartThings website to check device compatibility and gather more information.

Change network settings

Note: Your friends are getting impatient because they want to show you a funny video on Instagram. All you have to do is manage your network settings.

1 Open the SmartThings app.

2 Tap the Home icon.

3 Select the location where your Connect Home is registered, and then tap the Devices tab (at the bottom of the screen).

4 Swipe left or right until you find the hub, and then select it.

5 Select your Connect Home from the list of devices, and then tap Network traffic.

6 Tap the More options icon (the three vertical dots), and then tap Network settings.

7 Here you can see the password and other information about your Wi-Fi network.
