The water filters that fit on plumbed in models of the side by Side refrigerators

This depends on the hardness of the water and the frequency of use. The indicator will illustrate when it needs changing (a red light illumintes on the control panel).
Generally it would be approximately 6 month for filter changes.
The following steps will assist in changing the filter:
- Hold the two buttons together ICE TYPE - CHILD LOCK for approx 5 seconds
to reset the installation of the filter.
