R&R TeamHowdy Missmywatch8,
Thank you for reaching out to share your sentiments with us regarding your experience using the new Samsung Galaxy Watch9. We're grateful that you took the time to contact us about battery life. Samsung provides a 12-month warranty on your device for manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. The Galaxy Watch9 40mm version has a 390 mAh battery while the 44mm version offers a 445 mAh battery. The higher capacity allows your Galaxy Watch9 to require less frequency in charging. This means you can keep the Watch powered throughout the day with minimal downtime. While you're using your Galaxy Watch9 without enabling AOD, you should expect to receive about 40 hours of usage time. Up to 30 hours if you're utilizing AOD! Since your Galaxy Watch9 is brand new, your device is still in the process of indexing, syncing apps, and calibrating to your usage patterns. To fix immediate battery drain, you can disable Always-On Display (AOD), turn off continuous background health checks, and restart your watch. If you're experiencing less than anticipated battery life on your new device, please take a moment to check out the resources shared below to help resolve what you may be experiencing. If you have any questions for us or if you would like further assistance, please let us know by reaching out to Samsung Support. Thank you for being a valued Samsung customer.
