Some cooking modes cannot be selected on Samsung range

If some cooking modes on your oven do not show up or cannot be selected, such as Bake or Broil, you can add them to your My Mode list to get them to show again. This function allows you to select to see only your desired cooking modes and hide the rest.

  1. Add your desired cooking mode(s) to the My Mode List.

    On the oven's display, tap Menu (the three horizontal lines), and then use the dial knob to select My Mode List. Then, turn and push the dial knob to select your desired mode or modes. Make sure to select the cooking modes you wish to use, so they will appear when you're using your oven.

  2. Save your modes to the My Mode List.

    Select Save to save your changes. Now, you will be able to view your selected mode or modes.

  3. Factory resetting your oven will erase all data and return your oven to its default settings. 

  4. Factory reset your oven.

    If you're still having trouble getting My Mode to work and display your desired modes, you can factory reset your oven to reset everything back to the way it was out of the box.

    Trying to push menu button on Samsung ovenTouch and hold Menu (the three horizontal lines) for three seconds. Using the dial knob, select Reset. Then, turn the dial knob to select Reset again and confirm.

  5. Your modes will now display.

    The previous instructions will resolve your issue. Service is not required.
