Clean Station does not empty Jet Stick dustbin

The Clean Station for your Jet Cordless Stick Vacuum will empty out the dustbin’s contents within seconds of pressing the START/STOP button. If the dustbin isn't completely empty after using the station, it may be due to low suction power caused by the vacuum's position. Or, the dustbin may be clogged with dust and debris. You can try checking the position of the vacuum and removing extra debris by hand.
-
Insert the vacuum into the Clean Station until it clicks.
The bottom of the vacuum’s dustbin should line up with the top of the station. You will hear a click when it is placed correctly, letting you know that the station is ready.
If the vacuum doesn't connect with the Clean Station correctly, it can reduce the suction level of the Clean station and be less effective at emptying the dustbin.
-
Try to empty the dustbin again.
Press the START/STOP button on the top of the station, and then wait a moment for it to empty. (It shouldn't take long.)
After a few seconds, you can press START/STOP again to turn the clean station off and check if the dustbin is empty.
-
Readjust the vacuum.
Most of the time that should be all it takes to empty the dustbin, but if you still have debris inside, try removing and reattaching the vacuum (checking for the click in place) and try emptying the dustbin again.
-
Check if the dust bag is full.
Dust bags should last over 3 months, but will occasionally need replacing.
-
Manually empty the dustbin.
In some cases, tangled hair and other forms of debris may be too much for the Clean Station to handle. In this case you'll need to manually clean the dustbin.
-
