
No Dolby Digital audio through HDMI ARC (eARC) on 2021 TV

If you are experiencing issues using Dolby Digital audio via HDMI ARC (eARC) on your 2021 Samsung TV, it may be due to a recent software update. Software version 1903 (or higher) may cause Dolby Digital audio to malfunction. Fortunately, this will be fixed in an upcoming software update.
An upcoming software update will be available for all affected models. This update will fix the error on your TV.
To check your TV’s software version, navigate to Settings, select Support, and then hover over Software Update. The current software version will be displayed on the right side of
the screen. To update the TV’s software, select Software Update, and then select Update Now.
Service is not required for this issue.
