Soundbar drops audio connected to other TV using eARC

You may notice that there is no sound when using eARC with your Samsung soundbar and a non-Samsung TV. This may happen because some audio formats are simply not compatible with eARC and due to the settings you have on your TV. Changing a setting on your TV should make things work more smoothly and stop the sound from dropping out.

All TVs settings menus are different, but in order to correct this issue, you need to set the Digital Audio Output setting on your TV to Auto or something similar to automatic. If it is set to Pass-Through it may work occasionally, but could potentially drop out from time to time if an incompatible audio format is sent to the soundbar.
