Samsung Wine Cooler has no power
If your Wine Cooler is having power issues, the LED lights may not turn on or your wine bottles may feel warm. Luckily, power issues can be resolved by checking the circuit breakers, power outlet, and power cord. Then, you can get back to using your Wine Cooler.
-
Check if the circuit breaker has been tripped.
Check the circuit breakers to see if any have been tripped. If tripped, reset the breaker.
If the Wine Cooler keeps tripping the circuit, unplug it from the current outlet and plug it into another outlet. If necessary, run an extension cord to another room because another outlet in the same room may be on the same circuit.
- If the Wine Cooler does not trip the circuit breaker when on a different circuit, service is not required. Please contact an electrician for help with the tripping circuit.
- If the issue continues even on another circuit, visit our Support Center to request service.
-
Check the power outlet.
Unplug the Wine Cooler, and then connect something else to the same outlet to check if it receives power. If it does not, contact an electrician for help with the outlet, and then use a different outlet for the Wine Cooler.
Verify that the outlet is grounded and is 120V, 60 Hz. If the outlet does not meet these requirements, contact an electrician.
-
Inspect the power cord.
Inspect the power cord for any damage.
If it's damaged, do not plug it back in, and visit the Support Center to request service.
-
Plug the Wine Cooler back in.
If the Wine Cooler works on any other outlet, then contact an electrician for help with the outlets that are not working.
-
Request service.
If the Wine Cooler still will not power on, visit our Support Center to request service.
GFCI protected outlets will prevent the use of any outlet on their circuit when they are tripped. When this occurs, reset the GFCI switch to restore power to the protected outlets. If the GFCI circuit continues to trip, plug the Wine Cooler into an outlet on a circuit without GFCI protection.
