Condensation on interior walls of Samsung Wine Cooler

Condensation inside your Wine Cooler is not a cause for concern. It is a natural phenomenon that occurs when air enters the appliances. It's easy to get rid of condensation and prevent more from occurring.

If the Wine Cooler's door is left open, moisture will enter inside and cause condensation on the interior walls. Remove the moisture using a dry cloth or paper towel. To prevent more condensation, do not leave the door open for an extended period of time, unless necessary.

  1. Keep the doors closed.

Condensation happens when moist warm air is cooled. When you open the doors to add or remove something from your wine cooler, keep the doors open for the minimal amount of time necessary. This will reduce the amount of moist air that gets in.

  2. Examine the gasket and push it back in place if needed.

The gasket that surrounds the door helps keep the compartment sealed so air can't get in. If it's out of place, push it back into place.

  3. If your wine cooler is damaged, request service.

Condensation is a natural occurrence and on its own, does not require service. However, if there is damage to the wine cooler that is keeping the doors from forming a complete seal when they are closed, visit our Support Center to request service.
