Galaxy phone screen and audio are not clear when using Game Pass app

If your phone’s screen is unclear or if your audio is interrupted frequently while gaming, there are some things you can check. You should make sure you’re using a strong network connection when streaming games with the Xbox Game Pass app so your games can run smoothly. You can also check your network’s bandwidth and provide feedback in the Game Pass app.
-
Check your network connection.
When using Xbox Game Pass, it is recommended that you use LTE, 5G, or 5GHz Wi-Fi network connections. Your wireless network connection needs to be secure in order to stream and play games.
On your phone, swipe down from the top of the screen to open the Quick settings panel, and then touch and hold the Wi-Fi icon. Tap the switch to turn Wi-Fi on and then check your current connection.
-
Check the bandwidth and ping value of your current network.
Open a browser on your phone and visit an internet speed test site. Popular sites include Speedtest by Ookla and SpeedOf.Me. Follow the on screen instructions to perform the test.
- If your bandwidth is less than 5.5mbps, or if the ping value is higher than 60ms, then the network speed is too slow for game streaming. Please contact your network provider for assistance.
- If your bandwidth is more than 5.5mbps, and the ping value is less than 60ms, you should check if the same symptoms appear on other devices that are connected to the same network. You may need to adjust some settings on your router to optimize your network for game streaming. Consult your ISP or router manufacturer for the specific settings.
