Cooling Off mode

Refrigerators produced in 2014 (H in the fifth digit of model code) changed from requiring 2 buttons (top 2 on left) to requiring 3 buttons (top 2 on left and top 1 on right) for Cooling Off mode, without any change in the model code. If you're in demo mode by accident, it is probably a 2-button model. Try that first and then try the three-button method if just two buttons doesn't work.

Cooling Off mode (also called Shop mode), is designed for use by retailers when they are displaying refrigerators on the shop floor.

In Cooling Off mode, the refrigerator’s fan motor and lights work normally, but the compressors do not run, and the refrigerator and freezer do not get cold.

To start Cooling Off mode, touch and hold the Freezer, Fridge and Alarm buttons for 5 seconds during normal operation.

The refrigerator chime sounds and the temperature display flashes OFF.
To cancel Cooling Off mode, touch and hold the Freezer, Fridge and Alarm buttons again for 5 seconds.
