Samsung air purifier error codes

We've built our air purifiers for you in the hopes that they will last for quite some time and purify your air as long as you need. But in some cases, something may go wrong. If your air purifier needs your attention, it will display a code. If that code doesn't go away after turning the air purifier off and back on again, then your air purifier needs service.

C103

Communication Error

This error occurs when the electronic components within the air purifier are not communicating with each other. Unplug the air purifier, wait 30 seconds, and then plug the air purifier back in. If the error returns, visit our Support Center to request service.

C105

Wi-Fi Communication Error

This error occurs when either the Wi-Fi module or the panel it is connected to are not operating correctly. Unplug the air purifier, wait 30 seconds, and then plug the air purifier back in. If the error returns, visit our Support Center to request service.

C138

Gas Sensor Error

This error occurs when either the gas sensor or the internal electronic panel it is connected to is not operating correctly. Unplug the air purifier, wait 30 seconds, and then plug the air purifier back in. If the error returns, visit our Support Center to request service.

C140

Laser Dust Sensor Error

This error occurs when the dust sensor is not receiving enough power, not outputting enough power, or the internal electronic panel it is connected to is not operating correctly. Unplug the air purifier, wait 30 seconds, and then plug the air purifier back in. If the error returns, visit our Support Center to request service.

C154

Fan Motor Error

This error occurs when there is a defect of the fan, its motor, or the wire connecting it. Unplug the air purifier, wait 30 seconds, and then plug the air purifier back in. If the error returns, visit our Support Center to request service.

C162

EEPROM Error

The main circuit board within the air purifier has failed. Unplug the air purifier, wait 30 seconds, and then plug the air purifier back in. If the error returns, visit our Support Center to request service.

Abnormal Option Error

This error occurs if an invalid set of options has been programmed into the system. Unplug the air purifier, wait 30 seconds, and then plug the air purifier back in. If the error returns, visit our Support Center to request service.

Bluetooth Pairing Error

The main circuit board within the air purifier is defective. Unplug the air purifier, wait 30 seconds, and then plug the air purifier back in. If the error returns, visit our Support Center to request service.
