Sound lags from Samsung earbuds when videos or games are played

Sound lag is when the sound output does not match what’s happening on the connected device's screen. There are several reasons why you may experience sound lag on your Samsung earbuds when playing videos or games. However, there is usually an easy fix, such as strengthening the Bluetooth connection.
Tips to prevent audio lag
- Sound lag can occur on any Bluetooth audio device. You can minimize the delay by limiting interference, such as moving the devices closer together to help improve the connection. Make sure there aren't any objects, metals, walls, or people between the earbuds and other Bluetooth device.
- Additionally, avoid using your earbuds near devices that may cause interference, such as other Bluetooth devices, microwaves, and wireless routers.
- When playing a game, you can try pausing the game for a few seconds or restarting the gaming app. It's also helpful to check for updates to the game or your device.
- When using Galaxy Buds+, Buds Live, Buds Pro, Buds2, or Buds2 Pro paired with a Samsung phone or tablet, you can activate Gaming mode to halt lag. Open the Galaxy Wearable app, tap Earbuds settings, and then tap Labs. Tap the switch next to Gaming mode. This feature will minimize delays for a smooth sound.
