The HMD Odyssey cannot be used as a standalone device. It needs to be connected to a computer and you need to open Mixed Reality Portal if you want to play VR games. Keep reading to learn how to connect the HMD Odyssey to your computer.

When the HMD Odyssey is connected to a computer, the Mixed Reality Portal app will automatically launch. If Mixed Reality portal doesn't open or you experience other issues like the HMD Odyssey's screen appearing black, there are a couple things you can do to fix the problem.

Overview Trigger: Press to select an item or use it as a trigger when playing certain games. Its function may vary depending on the launched apps.  Touchpad: Press to select an item.
