Cannot charge or turn on Samsung U Flex headphones

Your U Flex headphones will not turn on if the battery is completely drained. You must fully charge the battery before turning on and trying to use your headphones. If your headphones still will not turn on, you can try inspecting it for damage and then charging it with the travel charger that came with the device.

  1. Inspect the headphones and charger.

    • Check if the Power button on the headphones is loose or damaged.
    • Verify that the device, charger, and USB cable have no physical or liquid damage, and that they are free of dust and foreign materials.
    • Check the USB connections for corrosion and bent pins. The USB cable should be secured firmly in the charging port with very little mobility.
    • Connecting the charger improperly may cause damage to the headphones or cause charging issues.
  2. Using a power source other than the charger, such as a computer, may result in slower charging speeds due to a lower electric current.

  3. Charge the headphones.

    Open the charger port cover on the headphones and connect the factory travel charger that came with it. If possible, test your headphones with another Samsung charger to see if it charges.

    The indicator light will be red when charging and blue when fully charged. It may take a few minutes for the indicator light to appear if the battery is completely depleted.

  4. Turn on the headphones.

    Slide the Power switch to the On position. The indicator light will flash blue. The headphones will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode when turned on for the first time.

    You can manually enter Bluetooth pairing mode by sliding the Power switch to the right. Then, hold it for approximately three seconds.

  5. Request service.

    If the problem persists, service is required. Please contact the Support Center to set up service.
