Reset SmartThings Hub 2018

To completely redo your SmartThings configuration and start from scratch, you can perform a factory reset on your SmartThings Hub v3 (2018).
-
Power off and reset the hub.
First, power off the hub by unplugging the power cable from the back of the hub. Then, using a pin or a similar tool, hold down the Reset button located on the back of the hub. Continue to hold down the button and reinsert the power cable. Release the button when the LED light switches from flashing yellow to solid yellow.
If you do not release the button right after the LED switches to solid yellow, the hub may not begin the reset.
-
Wait for the hub to reset.
The hub will take 10 to 15 minutes to perform a full factory reset. Once the LED on the hub begins blinking green and red, you should then be able to connect your hub to SmartThings again.
Resetting the hub will restore factory settings. All device connections, automations, and scenes associated with the hub will be lost. All devices connected to your hub will have to be reset or excluded before they can be reconnected.
