There are several reasons why your Wi-Fi or internet connection may be slow while using SmartThings. For example, there may be too many devices using the internet at the same time.

Set up a Home zone (Full access) The Home zone grants complete access to both the internet and all network devices. To set this up: Ensure the Plume Wifi app is installed on your phone. When you have a Wi-Fi network connected to Connect Home, you can use the SmartThings app to restrict the usage time for devices connected to it. If you have a SmartThings Wifi, you will have to use the Plume app to restrict usage time.

Connection problems may occur with SmartThings Wifi if your network disconnects, if you lose internet access, or if your hub doesn't appear to be connected with a router. However, there are a few things you can try, such as restarting the hub or relocating the hub.
