
Devices are gray or disconnected in SmartThings on Samsung smartwatch

To prevent problems from occurring with the SmartThings app on your Samsung smart watch, make sure the watch is connected to your phone through Bluetooth or directly to a Wi-Fi network. Depending on the issue, you may need to adjust the app's settings from the watch or the connected phone.
Motion sensors and multipurpose sensors widgets appear gray on the watch when there is no motion detected.

Select the device's location.
Navigate to and open the SmartThings app on your watch. Scroll to the bottom and select All devices.

Check the smart devices' status.
Check your devices' status to see if any are disconnected or if they say offline. In some cases, it may be necessary to delete and re-add the device(s) to the SmartThings app on the connected phone.
