Trouble using Samsung upright vacuum on high pile carpets or area rugs
Vacuuming high pile carpets can be tricky, you need enough suction to pick up dirt but too much will give your vacuum trouble when vacuuming these carpets. Luckily there is an easy adjustment for this.
If the suction is too strong to use your vacuum on high pile carpets, you can adjust the air tap. The air tap is located above the canister.
From the front of the vacuum, twisting the air tap to the right will close it and create more suction, while twisting it to the left will open it and create less suction. Adjust the air tap until the suction is strong enough to pick up dirt, but not so strong that it gets caught in the carpet.
