Samsung dryer will not turn off or stop spinning

If your dryer's panel stays on after a cycle finishes, or the drum light stays on even after you turn off the dryer, this is normal. What's not normal is if the drum won't stop spinning or the panel won't turn off when you press Power. This guide goes into more detail about how the dryer turns off.
On some newer models, the drum light is designed to stay on, even when the dryer has been powered off using the Power button. It will turn off by itself after a few minutes.

Check if Wrinkle Prevent is enabled.
Once a cycle stops, END will display until the door is opened. The dryer will also play a sound indicating that the cycle is done. At this time, if Wrinkle Prevent is enabled, the dryer will keep spinning without heat, and stop once you open the door. Wrinkle Prevent will spin the drum for a few minutes, and then tumble the clothes intermittently.

Restart the dryer.
If the message does not go away or the dryer won't turn off or stop spinning, try pressing Power. If nothing happens, try resetting the power at the circuit breaker and then turn the dryer on and off.
