Bixby alarm is not working

Bixby alarm reads the time, weather, and news when your normal alarm goes off. However, it only sounds on the first ring. If you snooze the alarm, it will only play background music the next time it rings.

In order to use Bixby alarm, you will need to set up Bixby Voice.

  1. Set a test alarm.

Bixby only reads the news and weather on the first ring. If it isn't working, it's possible the alarm was snoozed. To be sure, set an alarm for a few minutes later and see if it works on the first ring.

  2. Make sure your apps are up to date.

If the alarm still isn't working, check for app updates in the Galaxy Store for the Bixby, Clock, or Weather app. Install any available updates, and then delete and recreate your alarm.

  3. Reset Bixby.

If other troubleshooting has failed, reset Bixby. When you're finished, set up Bixby Voice again to add a new alarm.
