Built in cooktop error codes

An error code will appear on your cooktop's control panel if a button is stuck or the burners cannot detect your cookware. Most information codes and notifications on the cooktop can be resolved with a power cycle. If you have an induction cooktop, make sure you're using cookware that is compatible with the induction elements.

C0, C1, C2, C3

Sensor error

  1. Restart the cooktop using the Power button.
  2. If the issue continues, unplug the power cord or turn off power at the circuit breaker for 30 seconds, and then reconnect.

If the issue continues, visit the Support Center to request service.

Stuck button error

The panel detects a button is being continuously touched. This can happen if the panel is wet or if something actually is continuously touching the panel. Make sure the panel is clear of any debris or water droplets, and then restart the cooktop using the Power button.

If the issue continues, visit the Support Center to request service.

F0, F1, F2

Communication errors

  1. Restart the cooktop using the Power button.
  2. If the issue continues, disconnect power (by unplugging or using the circuit breaker) for 30 seconds, and then restart the cooktop.

If the issue continues, visit the Support Center to request service.

Pan detection error

Pan Detection ErrorThis error occurs only on Induction cooktops. It means that the pan is not detected, because it is the wrong size or not magnetic.

Use correct size, magnetic cookware, or use a different element that matches the size of the magnetic portion of the cookware.

Any other error code

Visit the Support Center to request service.
