
Card in Samsung Pay displays a pending verification message

If a payment card is still pending verification after completing the issuer's identity verification process and entering the necessary security credentials, it means that Samsung Pay has not received a response from the card issuer.
Check the card status after performing each step below.

Verify the phone is connected to the internet.
Switch from Wi-Fi to the mobile network, or vice-versa. Then, try opening a website from a browser to see if you have internet access.

Reboot the phone.
- On phones with a dedicated Power key: Press and hold the Power key, then tap Restart, and then tap Restart again.
- On phones without a dedicated Power key: Swipe down from the top of the screen to open Quick settings, and then tap the Power icon. Tap Restart, and then tap Restart again.
