Condensation in control panel on Samsung washing machine

You may notice some condensation in your control panel if your washer is located in a cool area of your house. When hot water or steam is in a cool, humid environment, it will tend to condense on what's the coolest, such as your control panel.

Most settings on your washer will use at least a little bit of hot water. Hot water can easily steam and cause (or add to) humid conditions. When the air is humid, condensation occurs on the coldest objects in the room, and since your washer's control panel is made from materials which cool quickly, that's where condensation is likely to occur.

All of this is completely normal.

Samsung washing machine spins poorly

If the washer is unbalanced, it won't want to spin at high speeds, and this could take the form of spinning slowly, stopping mid-cycle, or throwing an error. If your washer does not spin at all, it's possible that it needs service due to a motor issue. However, this can also be caused by a drain issue, and sometimes attempting Calibration mode can kick start the spin function back into working again, especially after resolving the drain issue first.

If your washer won't start, the buttons won't work, or the control knob won't select a different cycle, you probably have Child Lock turned on. If your Child Lock icon is lit or flashing, this confirms it. Turning Child Lock off will usually take care of your problem.
