Galaxy Ring is not working

Your Galaxy Ring may not work if it requires charging or if it's too loose on your finger. You can try restarting or resetting the ring if the issues continue.

Galaxy Ring is not working

Make sure the ring has been charged and is worn properly.

  • The battery may be completely discharged. Charge the battery completely before using the ring.
  • If the ring is too loose on your finger, health data may not be measured or the ring may not work.
  • Wear the ring on a finger where it can fit securely. For accurate measurements, wear the ring so that the orientation indicator on the outside of the ring is facing towards your palm and the sensor is in contact with your skin.

Restart the ring.

If your ring is frozen and unresponsive, press and hold the charging case's Multipurpose button for more than 7 seconds to restart it.

Reset the ring.

If the methods above do not solve your problem, you can perform a reset. On the connected phone, open the Galaxy Wearable app, and then tap Reset.

Resetting the Ring may delete health data that has not synced with the Samsung Health app. You can ensure your data is synced by opening the app on the connected phone before resetting the Ring.
