Note
Galaxy Ring gestures are disabled when also wearing a Galaxy Watch with enabled gestures. If you'd prefer to use ring gestures, turn off watch gestures.

Using the phone that the Ring is connected to, open the Galaxy Wearable app, and then tap Gestures. Tap the switch(es) next to Dismiss alarm and Take picture or video to enable these gestures.
2
Check your phone's current software version.
In order to use gestures, your phone must be running One UI 6.1.1 or above. To check this, navigate to and open Settings, then tap About phone, and then tap Software information.
3
Update the software if needed.
You can check your phone for available updates. From the Settings menu, tap Software update, and then tap Check for new update or Download and install. Follow the prompts to install the new update.
4
Try using gestures again.
Try using gestures while wearing your Ring. Repeat the above steps if necessary.
