Galaxy Ring keeps disconnecting from phone

If your Galaxy Ring disconnects from your phone, then there may be an issue with the Bluetooth connection. You can fix this by reestablishing the connection, ensuring there are no obstacles, and updating the Galaxy Wearable app.

Galaxy Ring keeps disconnecting from phone

Enable Bluetooth and check the battery level.
Place the Galaxy Ring in the charging case and then press and hold the case’s Multipurpose button for three seconds to enable Bluetooth pairing. If the ring does not pair to your phone, allow the ring to fully charge in the charging case before trying to connect it to your phone.

Check for obstacles.
Make sure there are no obstacles, such as walls or electrical equipment, between the ring and your phone.

Update the Galaxy Wearable app.
Make sure the Galaxy Wearable app on your phone is updated to the latest version. Navigate to and open the Galaxy Wearable app, then tap Ring software update. Follow the on-screen instructions to update the app’s software if necessary.

Check the Bluetooth range.
Additionally, make sure the ring and your phone are within the Bluetooth connection range of 98 feet. The distance may vary depending on the environment.

Restart your phone and open Galaxy Wearable again.

Swipe down from the top of your phone’s screen, then tap the Power icon, and then tap Restart. Tap Restart again and allow your phone to restart.

Then, open the Galaxy Wearable app. While the ring is in the charging case, press and hold the case’s Multipurpose button for three seconds to initiate Bluetooth pairing. Then, connect the Galaxy Ring to your phone.

Repeat the above steps.
