Text is blocky or fuzzy on Samsung PC

Important
If your entire screen is block or fuzzy, your resolution is probably not set correctly. If the text on the laptop screen is fine, but not on an external monitor, you'll need to adjust similar settings for the external monitor.
1

Open the ClearType Text Tuner.

Type ClearType in the search box, and then select Adjust ClearType text.
2

Adjust ClearType.

Make sure ClearType is enabled by selecting the box next to Turn on ClearType.
3

Check the display.

Select Next. This step will make sure your monitor is set to the correct resolution and allow you to change it if necessary.
4

Check the sample texts.

Select Next. You will be taken through a series of five screens where you can select what you feel is the best version of the sample text. Choose the samples that are easiest to read.

Continue choosing the samples texts and then select Next on each screen.

5

Complete the ClearType adjustments.

Once you've looked through the sample texts, select Finish.
6

Confirm how your text looks.

ClearType adjustments are entirely your personal preference. If you do not like the outcome of the settings you selected, repeat the previous steps and select different sample texts, until you reach your preferred result. Service is not required.
