Disable Windows' enhancements.
Right click the Sound icon from the taskbar. Highlight Spatial sound, and then click Off on the submenu that appears.
On Windows 11, click Start, begin typing Sound settings, and click it when it appears. Then, click Speakers (or whichever sound device you are using), and make sure the slider for Enhance Audio is Off.
Disable Driver enhancements.
Reboot the PC.
There are several ways to do this. One way is to right click the Start button, select Shut down or sign out, and then select Restart.
Try updating with Samsung Update.
If Samsung Update is available on your model, it will be preinstalled and can be found in the Start menu. If it isn't installed, it can be downloaded from the Microsoft Store. Open the app to check for and install any updates.
Some models may not be able to install the Samsung Update app, or even if you install it, the app will indicate that updates are supported through Windows Update instead (see the next step).
Try updating with Windows Update.
Navigate to Settings, select Update & Security or Windows Update, and then check for updates. If any optional updates say there are drivers, install them.
If you're using external speakers or a headset, contact the manufacturer.
If your external device still isn't working, try installing the software and drivers provided by its manufacturer. If that still doesn't work, contact them directly for more support.
If your external device is made by Samsung, search our Support Center for an article specific to that device.
