Video issues with Samsung Gaming Monitor
Video issues can be caused by multiple things. If you are using a Samsung Gaming Monitor, it is important to check the connections that are being used when trying to play content from a PC.

Video does not appear or malfunctions via USB-C to DisplayPort connection
Video does not appear or malfunctions via USB-C Port
USB-C video is not supported through any connection on the following models:
- LS49CG950SNXZA
- LS49CG952SNXZA
- LS49CG954SNXZA
- LS49CG930SNXZA
- LS49CG932SNXZA
- LS49CG934SNXZA

Check if the PC supports DisplayPort standard 1.4.
The location of this setting will vary depending on the PC. If the 1.4 standard is not supported, continue to the next step.
For the best results, make sure a high quality cable or adapter is being used.

Change the DisplayPort version on the monitor.
- Disconnect the cable or adapter from the monitor.
- Navigate to Menu > System > DisplayPort Version > select 1.1 or 1.2.
- Reconnect the cable or adapter.
- If there is still an issue, swap out to the cable or adapter for a new one.

The USB-C connection allows the monitor to function as a USB hub for the connected PC. Video function is not supported through this input. Please use an HDMI or DisplayPort connection to play content from a PC.
