Where can the Samsung Rewards card be used?
The Samsung Rewards card can be used at any store that accepts both Mastercard debit cards and Samsung Pay.
The cash register asked for my PIN. How do I find it?
Your default PIN is the last 4 digits of the card number. You can find the numbers in Samsung Pay.
A merchant asked for the last four digits of my card. How do I find it?
If a merchant asks for the last four digits of your card, they can be found in Samsung Pay.
I reset or switched my phone and no longer have my rewards card. How can I get it back?
Open the Samsung Pay app, tap Menu (the three horizontal lines) and then tap Help. Tap Add Rewards card, and the card will be returned to your account. If you receive an error message, please contact customer care at 1-844-SAM-PAYS (1-844-726-7297).
Will my Samsung Rewards Mastercard credit sync between Samsung Pay on my phone and Samsung Pay on my Samsung smart watch?
Yes, as long as the same Samsung Account is used for both Samsung Pay on your phone and Samsung Pay on your Samsung smart watch, the Samsung Rewards Mastercard credit will sync.
What if I don't see my Samsung Rewards Mastercard on the smart watch?
Load your Samsung Rewards Mastercard on your Samsung smart watch by following these steps: Open the Galaxy Wearable app on the paired phone, tap Watch settings, tap Apps, and then tap App settings. Tap Samsung Pay, tap More options (the three vertical dots) at the top right, and then tap Help. Tap Add Rewards card, and the card will be added to Samsung Pay on the watch.
Will my rewards expire?
Your Samsung Rewards card includes a “valid thru” date, however, even if the “valid thru” date has passed, the available funds on your card do not expire. There are fees associated with card inactivity. Full terms are available in the cardholder agreement.
How can I increase my Samsung Rewards card balance?
Only Samsung can add value to the Samsung Rewards card, and we are here to help you earn more with Samsung Pay! You can find the latest promotional offers through the promotions page in the app or through email and app notifications.
What if my check out bill is higher than my Samsung Rewards card balance?
Most merchants support the ability to use a partial balance, but sometimes that doesn’t work. If you do not tell the cashier and try to make a purchase for more than the balance on your Samsung Rewards card, the transaction may be declined. To be safe, tell the cashier how much you want to pay with your Samsung Rewards card balance and then pay the remainder through another form of payment.
When prompted, do I choose "Debit" or "Credit" for my transaction using the Samsung Rewards card?
Either “Credit” or “Debit” would work. If you select Credit, you will be prompted for your signature. If you select Debit, you will be prompted to enter the PIN associated with your card.
If I lose my phone, how can I get my Samsung Rewards card and its value back?
When the Samsung Rewards card is loaded to your Samsung Pay app, you'll also receive an email with details on how to recover your account.
If I transfer Rewards to an existing promotional Samsung Rewards Mastercard, when do the funds expire?
The funds transferred to a virtual prepaid Samsung Rewards Mastercard do not expire. Fees may apply for periods of inactivity. Please see the Samsung Rewards Cardholder Agreement for details.
What happens if I remove my Samsung Account and Samsung Pay account from my device?
In this situation, your Samsung Rewards Mastercard will be closed and you will no longer be able to access the funds on your card.
