Cycles

Depending on your model, your Samsung dishwasher will have the following cycles:

  • Auto/Smart Auto: Automatically adjusts to the soil level for optimal cleaning.
  • Chef: Ideal for mixed loads, place heavily soiled items in the Zone Booster area.
  • Delicate: Best for fine glassware. Avoid using it for other types to prevent damage.

    Caution: Do not use this cycle for other types of glassware because clouding or etching may occur.
  • Express 60/Quick+: A quick wash for lightly soiled items without drying.
  • Heavy: For heavily soiled dishes requiring intensive cleaning.
  • Normal: The standard cycle for everyday dishes.
  • Pots & Pans: Targets hard-to-clean, heavily soiled cookware.
  • Rinse Only: A quick rinse for items that do not need to be immediately washed. You can skip detergent when using this cycle.
  • Self Clean: Cleans the dishwasher's tub. Run this cycle without dishes.

    Caution: Always run the Self Clean cycle with the dishwasher empty. Never use it as a wash cycle to clean dishes.

Run a cycle

When you’re ready to run a cycle on your dishwasher, you can use the following steps:
