When you first open the Samsung Browser, review the terms and conditions, then tap Continue. You'll be prompted to set it as the default. If you choose Not now, you can still set it as the default by going to Settings > Apps > Choose default apps > Browser app > Samsung Browser.

Use Advanced Features

Explore features like QR code scanning, reading aloud mode, and private browsing for a more efficient experience.

  • QR scanning: Swipe down from the top of your screen to open the Quick settings panel, and then tap the Scan QR code icon. Focus the camera on the code to scan it automatically. You can also use the Camera app, ensure PHOTO is selected, and position the viewfinder to scan the code.

  • Read aloud:  Select text on a webpage, then tap the Browsing assist icon, and then tap Read highlights aloud to have the selected text read out loud.

  • Private browsing: Tap the Tabs icon (box with a number) in the bottom toolbar, then tap the Secret mode icon (face mask). The browser will switch to Secret mode, shown by a face mask in the address bar. To exit, tap the Tabs icon, and then tap the All tab (rectangle with a number).
