  • Washers (4 pieces)

  • Left side top cover bracket

  • Right side top cover bracket (with multi-connection cable attached)

  1. Make sure the power cord is unplugged before starting. Tighten the leveling feet of the dryer until they are secure.
  2. Pull out the washing machine, and then unfasten the two screws that are attached to the rear of the appliance.
  3. Check the capacity of your washing machine and locate the correct assembly holes on the top cover bracket.
  4. Fasten the top cover brackets to their corresponding stacking guide.

Note: Ensure the top cover brackets are on the correct sides (left and right) of the stacking guides before fastening them.
  5. Position the assembled stacking guides on the curved edges of the washing machine’s top cover. Fasten the stacking guides.
  6. Assemble the bracket guide to the stacking guides at the front end and then check the alignment.
  7. Remove the release liner from the double-sided tape that is attached to the bottom of the stacking guides, and then attach the stacking guides to the washing machine. Then, remove the bracket guide.
  8. Lift the dryer and place it on the stacking guide. Then, push the dryer until the two rear legs are properly locked into the stacking guides’ slot.

Note: The front edges of the stacking guides should align with the front edges of the dryer’s side frames. Make sure the front edges are not sticking out past the stacking guides.
  9. Attach the bracket guide to the stacking guides and secure it in place.
  10. Hold the front cover with “UP” facing upward. Align the hooks on the front cover with the holes on the stacking guides. Then, fully insert the hooks to attach the front cover to the stacking guides.

Install the Stacking and MultiControl Kit

When installing the Stacking and MultiControl Kit, make sure to use a kit that is compatible with your Samsung washing machine and dryer. Two people are required to lift the dryer onto the washing machine. Additionally, do not lay the dryer down on the floor when installing the stacking kit, as doing this may scratch the dryer.

You can use the following steps to install your Stacking and MultiControl Kit, or refer to our video.

Provided stacking kit components
  • Stacking support guides (2 pieces)

  • Rear bracket

  • Screw-hex head (4 pieces)

  • Screw Phillips-pan head (8 pieces)
  • Washer (4 pieces)
  • Assembly bracket stacking

  1. Make sure the power cord is unplugged before starting. Place the dryer on a non-slippery floor, and then tilt the dryer on its side.
  2. Make sure the legs are facing upwards, and then tighten them securely in place.
  3. Insert the stacking support guides in the rectangular holes located in the dryer’s base until you hear a clicking sound. You do not need to remove the legs.
  4. Repeat the above steps on the other side of the dryer.
  5. Do not tighten the stacking kit screws completely. Instead, loosely fasten two rear brackets at the rear of the washing machine using the provided screws and washers.
  6. Lift and position the dryer and slide it backwards so it makes contact with the rear brackets.
  7. Align the rear brackets with the mounting holes on the rear of the dryer.
  8. Loosely assemble the rear brackets on the rear of the dryer using two screws.
  9. Tighten the screws on the dryer’s side of the rear bracket. Then, tighten the screws on the washing machine’s side of the rear bracket.
  10. Assemble the provided bracket stacking on the right side, and then assemble the rear bracket on the left side.
  11. Open the connector port cover on the washing machine and dryer, then connect the wire on both ports, and then close the cover. Do not pull on the wire.
  12. Find the holder wire that is pre-attached to the wire, and then attach the holder wire to the washing machine and dryer. Make sure the washer and dryer are connected.
