Galaxy Wearable is the most important app to use with your Galaxy Watch. You’ll use it to pair your watch with your phone, and it’s in charge of keeping your phone and watched synced. You’ll also be able to change your watch settings, and customize it to your liking all from your phone.
Samsung Health provides core features to keep up your body fit and healthy. It will record and analyze your daily activities and habits to help maintain successful diet and lead healthy lifestyle. Whether you walk or run, hike or bike, play indoor or outdoor sports, you can add and track the various physical exercises and activities in a single step using the various built-in trackers. You can also record your step count activity using Pedometer. Samsung Health will combine data from all your wearables and your phone to get a complete picture of your healthy activities.
Health monitor is separate from Samsung Health, and unlocks the ECG feature of compatible Galaxy Watches. You'll need to set up Health monitor on your phone before you can take measurements. This feature lets you measure the electrical activity of your heartbeat, and share the data with your health care providers.
Many more apps are available for your Galaxy Watch. Voice assistants, media players, music streaming and more can be used right from your wrist. Wear OS watches, including the Galaxy Watch4 and later, can use the Google Play Store to download apps like Google Fit, new watch faces and more. The Galaxy Watch3 and earlier can download additional apps and watch faces from the Galaxy Store.
