The Galaxy Watch5 and Galaxy Watch5 Pro have a few things in common with the previous Galaxy Watch4 series. Like the standard Galaxy Watch4, both Galaxy Watch5 models include a bezel-less design. The Galaxy Watch5 series’ accurate sensor will help you get incredibly detailed readings when measuring your heart rate, as well as body composition stats like body fat, skeletal muscle, and basal metabolic rate. You can also stay updated on your sleeping habits with Advanced Sleep Coaching, which detects your sleep cycle and heart rate while you're resting.

Note: Advanced Sleep Coaching requires the latest version of the Samsung Health app. You must wear the watch while sleeping for seven days, and then respond to the survey when prompted.

When you’re taking your watch for a ride on your bike, a quick workout at the gym, or even a nearby walk or hike, you’ll want to make sure it can withstand anything. The Galaxy Watch5 series includes the strongest watch face yet, thanks to the scratch resistant Sapphire Crystal glass coating, so you won’t need to worry about damaging it. Plus, the Galaxy Watch5 Pro includes an incredibly tough titanium case.

The Galaxy Watch5 Pro also offers the new Import route feature, which lets you import a GPS route file from your phone. Then, strap on your watch and go! When you’re finished exploring, you can use the new Track back feature to follow the same route back home.
