Use the Samsung Health app on your iPhone

The Samsung Health app is available on your iPhone! You’ll be able to track your fitness goals, participate in Challenges, and work out with your friends using the Together feature. Getting started with Samsung Health is easy; just sign in with your Samsung account to begin using the features.

Note: The Samsung Health app is available on iPhone 5 devices and above that are running iOS 9 and above. iPad and iPod Touch devices are not supported. Some app functions may not be available based on your region, service, and carrier.

Set up Samsung Health

If you’d like to start using Samsung Health, you’ll need to download the app onto your iPhone. It’s available on the App Store

  1. Navigate to and open the App Store, and then search for and select Samsung Health

  2. Tap Get, and then tap Open. If prompted, select Allow on the popup to allow notification permissions.

  3. Next, review the information on the screen. Tap I agree to allow the permissions, and then tap Next.

  4. Tap Sign in to log in to your Samsung account. Enter your Samsung account credentials, sign in, and then tap OK on the additional permissions that appear.

  5. The following tabs will be available at the bottom of the screen:

    • Me: View your personal fitness information, such as your daily step count, as well as Running, Food, and Weight options.

    • Together: Use the Together feature to take part in Challenges and work out with your friends.

    • More: Add partner services or accessories such as a Galaxy Fit or Galaxy Watch. You can also edit the app’s notifications and permissions in the Settings menu.

Use Samsung Health’s features

Samsung Health has different features to help you reach your goals, whether you want to exercise on your own or with others. For instance, you can join Samsung Health Challenges and add friends to your account.

  1. Navigate to and open the Samsung Health app, and then tap the Me tab.

  2. Tap Be more active to view your daily steps (including running and walking) and calories burned. 

  3. Tap Trends or Rewards to see your steps over time and achieved goals. When you start walking or running each day, your data will be recorded in the Daily activity section.

  4. Tap Back, and then tap Start under Running to begin tracking your distance during a run.

  5. Tap Add under Food to input and track your food intake, and tap Record under Weight to input and track your weight.

  6. Next, tap the Together tab. Tap Start

  7. The Steps leaderboard will appear at the top of the screen; this will give you an overview of your total steps. Tap All Users, My Age Group, or Friends in the top right to change the information that appears on the leaderboard.

  8. To join a global Challenge, select Join or Join now, depending on which Challenge is available. Or, tap + Challenges to create your own Challenge.

  9. Tap Friends to add friends. You can use the search bar at the top, or tap ID, QR code, or Recommended to search for friends. You can check your current friends in the Friends section.

  10. If you’d like to invite friends to work out with you, tap More options (the three dots) on the Friends screen, and then tap Invite to Samsung Health. Tap Share to send the invite link.
