Download apps in Samsung DeX
With Samsung DeX, you have the option of downloading apps right from your desktop. Just like on your phone, you can download apps from the Play Store or Galaxy Store in DeX mode and enjoy them on a bigger screen.
Note: Some apps may not be available depending on the region, device OS, or the app store being used. Not all apps may be compatible with DeX.
Download apps from the Galaxy Store
You can access the Galaxy Store in DeX mode just like on your phone. When you install an app in DeX mode, it will also install on your phone so you can use it later.
From DeX mode, select the Apps icon, and then select Galaxy Store.
Select the Search icon and then search for an app. (If an app is not available in the Galaxy Store, you can check the Play Store instead.)
Then, select the Install icon to begin downloading the app.
Download apps from the Play Store
Can't find what you need in the Galaxy Store? Just check the Play Store instead.
Navigate to and select the Apps icon, and then select Play Store.
Use the search bar to find the app you're looking for.
Then, select Install.
