What is the Cash Back Awards Loyalty Program?
The Cash Back Awards Loyalty Program (“Awards Program”) allows users to earn a percentage back of their purchase amount (“Awards”) on certain purchases completed through the websites, applications, and other related properties of participating merchants and other third parties.
How Does it Work?
Available offers are presented in the Samsung Pay application. In order to earn an Award, You must: (a) click on a participating merchant’s link within Samsung Pay or Samsung browser (when available) which redirects you to a merchant’s site, and (b) complete a qualifying purchase transaction after clicking on the Merchant’s link.
Awards credited for qualifying purchases will be held in a pending state and do not accrue until expiration of the applicable return period for the product or service purchased via a merchant’s site (the “Return Period”). During the applicable Return Period, such amounts will be designated as “pending.” Upon expiration of the Return Period, Samsung will update your Awards balance to indicate that the relevant Award that has “accrued” is available for You to take action to redeem. The applicable Return Period is set by the relevant Merchant and, therefore, accrual dates vary depending on the Merchant’s policies.
What Does My Transaction Status Mean?
• Pending
You completed an eligible purchase but the applicable return-period has not yet expired.
• Earned
You have earned an Award on eligible purchases and it was added to your balance.
• Adjusted
Your Award was reduced when an eligible purchase was returned or for another reason, e.g., fraud.
• Redeemed
You transferred your Award to an available redemption method. Redemption methods will vary and are subject to additional terms and conditions. For example, accrued Awards transferred to a prepaid card may be subject to additional terms and conditions of the prepaid card issuer, including inactivity fees and forfeiture in the event of an expiration event. Samsung is not the provider or issuer of the available redemption methods and is not responsible for Awards once such amounts have been transferred to a redemption method.
How can I Redeem My Award?
At Awards Program launch, the only available redemption method is the promotional virtual prepaid Samsung Rewards Visa Card issued by WireCard. Additional terms, conditions and expiration dates apply to the Samsung Rewards Visa Card. See “Important Disclosures About Expiration Dates.”
Funds Not Added to Rewards Card
It may take some time to see your Rewards Card. Press OK to re-request the card. If it doesn’t appear within 24 hours, contact customer service.
What is the maximum amount of an Award that I can earn for each transaction?
The maximum amount of an Award that you can earn on a per transaction basis is $100.
Can I Use an Award that I Earned and Transferred to a promotional virtual Samsung Rewards Visa Card to Withdraw Money from an Automated Teller Machine (ATM)?
No. Samsung Rewards Visa Cards cannot be used to withdraw cash from an ATM.
Can I use Samsung Pay to pay on a participating merchant’s site?
You can use Samsung Pay on participating merchant sites where it is accepted, but it is not necessary to pay with Samsung Pay to receive Awards.
Do I have to use Samsung Pay on a merchant’s site to receive Awards?
No. You do not need to use Samsung Pay on a participating merchants’ site to receive Awards.

Do Awards Transferred to a promotional virtual prepaid Samsung Reward Visa Card Expire?
Yes. The expiration date is on the front of the card. The promotional Samsung Rewards Visa Card and all funds on the card expire twelve (12) months from card issuance. The expiration date is on the front of the card. New cards are not issued per Award redemption.
If I Transfer Awards to an existing promotional virtual prepaid Samsung Rewards Visa Card, when do the funds expire?
If you have an existing promotional Samsung Rewards Visa Card, please note that all funds added to the card EXPIRE ON THE EXPIRATION DATE ON THE FRONT OF THE CARD. For example, this means that if you transfer an Award to your existing promotional card six (6) months after card issuance, you will have approximately six (6) months before expiration.
Is the promotional Samsung Rewards Visa Card a virtual card or physical card?
It is a virtual card accessible via Samsung Pay.
If I close my Samsung Pay Account, what happens to my promotional Samsung Rewards Visa Card?
If you close your Samsung Account or Samsung Pay Account, your Samsung Rewards Visa Card and all funds on the card will expire.
