In 2017, as the company embarked on a series of ambitious new developments, Flatley was looking for a change in appliances. Though he had bought from other big-name companies in the past, he described their offerings as “blah,” and not in line with the standout architecture and design that The Allen Morris Company has perfected. So, he reached out to a contact to see who was doing the “latest and greatest” in appliances.
When Flatley saw what Samsung had to offer with its expansive portfolio of high-quality, connected, modern products, he was sold. “The appliances looked so much better than what everyone else has on the market.” Along with the appliances, Flatley also sees value in a partner that allows him to work at scale without missing a step.
“With Samsung, I can execute multiple projects at one time. I know what my price is going to be and I know that I’ve got a reliable source for every component, instead of reinventing the wheel.”
Now, all of The Allen Morris Company’s residential projects have integrated Samsung appliances, and Flatley plans to continue the partnership. “Things with Samsung are on track and on schedule. Everyone’s happy with production, installation and the end product. Why would we change what works so well?” Flatley said
Brand Leadership

The Allen Morris Company’s residential projects offer energy-efficient, smart-home technology as both a keen financial play and a way to keep up with consumer demand. “Once people start seeing those types of innovations, they appreciate them more and more,” Flatley said. “That’s why our in-house appliances are going to be smart.”
Samsung offers numerous connected appliances that are easy to set-up and intuitive to operate, powered by Samsung’s always-on support for seamless integration. Many of the packages enable users to run, maintain and personalize their appliances through an app or voice-enabled technology. For Flatley, it was another demonstration that Samsung was outperforming its competitors, who he says “missed the boat” on connected living. “Samsung has done a much better job of integrating technology in their appliances,” he said.
Builder Package
Flatley relies on Samsung to accommodate each unique project with continuity in quality and timing to keep things moving. “When I can call Samsung, I have faith and trust that they’ll make our schedules and budgets,” Flatley said. “I don’t want to go out and get three or four quotes. I want to be able to focus on four or five projects at one time.”
Flatley says that no matter the market or property, working with Samsung means finding a price point and appliance package that fits the company’s goals. “Samsung has been great at getting us down to the budget where we make things work,” he said.
Service and Support
Though The Allen Morris Company and Samsung have been partners since 2017, Flatley says he simply hasn’t had to rely on customer service much since the appliances have been working great and any repairs have been made right away.
