SmartThings AI Energy mode

Monitor and reduce the washer’s energy use. AI Energy mode* lets you check the power consumption and estimates your electricity bill. For courses that operate in AI Energy mode** it reduces energy use by up to 70%*** using Ecobubble™ to wash with cool water instead of warm and extra cycle time.

AI ​​Energy Mode is activated by checking the mode button to 'On' and selecting the device you want to run on Smartphone. Wash clothes using less energy. The Samsung washing machine is highly energy efficient and even exceeds the minimum energy efficiency requirements for the Class A rating by up to 10%*. Advanced technologies enhance the washing performance and reduce the wash time, which reduces its energy use.

AI Ecobubble™

Enjoy effective washing with AI Ecobubble™*. It creates bubbles that remove 24% more soil** even in cool water. It also detects the fabric type and adjusts the amount of bubbles, washing time, temperature and spin speed. So it saves up to 70% energy*** compared to washing in warm water and ensures 45.5% better fabric care****.

Cut your daily laundry time and get clothes thoroughly clean. Use Super Speed to wash a load in just 39 minutes*. QuickDrive™ saves time by moving clothes dynamically, while Ecobubble™ ensures powerful cleaning. The rinsing time is shortened using Speed Spray and it accelerates the spin speed.

Reduces microplastic

Less Microfiber cycle

The Less Microfiber cycle works to make clothes shed less microplastics, which are discharged into the drain water. By adjusting the motor’s revolution speed and washing intensiveness, the Less Microfiber cycle reduces the amount of microfiber released into the drain water by up to 54%*.

Cleans inside washer

Drum Clean +

Keep the inside of the machine hygienically clean and fresh. Drum Clean + removes dirt and 99.9% of certain odor-causing bacteria* in the drum by soaking, pulsating and spinning. A water jet and fast spinning also remove grime from the door gasket. And it notifies you when it needs cleaning**.
